Compositing an Image in PHOTOSHOP

Everything we saw have shapes isn't it? the mountains have triangular or cone shape, our houses have rectangular shape, wheels have circular shape. Even our body, there are some who have coke sakto shape, others have family size shape and many other kinds of shapes. If we combined all of this we can produce a quality image or pictures. In PHOTOSHOP we can produced an image by the used of shapes with proper combinations and procedures.

The image in the left is a combination of circles and lines. And we all know that this character is DORAEMON a famous cartoon character in television. I choose Doraemon because of its circular shape and for that it is easy to manipulate and create. Through PHOTOSHOP i create this image step by step, or layers by layers. In Photoshop we will work on the layers not by the image itself.

In compositing an image, it is a work of combining an image in a single picture to produce a better images. The combination of pictures will take place through every other layers to prevent errors and for proper composition. I used the Eliptical Marquee Tool to create circles and the Pencil Tool for single lines. I also used the Paint Bucket Tool to fill colors inside the shapes and the Gradient Tool for better colors. The Type Tool for Text purposes and the rest settings will depends on you and your creativity.

Now we learned how to create an image step by step through layers. We start on a blank images, from scrapped to a finished Doraemon character. Although the image is not that really perfect but the most important is, the thought  is in there, we can distinguish that it is a cartoon character. As a beginner we have to improve ourselves in order to produce great images. We just need to practice to enhance our creativity with PHOTOSHOP.
